OPERATING MODEL
We are able to provide an unbeatable combination of local claim service supplemented by an extensive network of claim professionals in the field.
- Our Field Claims Office in Indianapolis, Indiana services Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North and South Dakota.
- Our Field Claims Office in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin services Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin. To expedite less severe property and auto claims, we utilize our Claims Service Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Low severity workers’ compensation claims are handled in our Wausau, Wisconsin Claim Service Center.

Workers’ Compensation
Securing workers’ compensation protection is much more than just purchasing insurance. The benefits of a well managed workers’ compensation program include limiting both the frequency and severity of employee injuries, managing medical costs, delivering faster return-to-work outcomes, and reducing the potential for a negative impact on an organization’s bottom line.
At Indiana Insurance, we’ve designed a number of programs for our policyholders and their employees. Whether we’re fighting fraud, managing the care of an injured worker, or working with the policyholder to provide return-to-work alternatives, doing the right thing is at the forefront of everything we do – and a responsibility we take seriously.
Provider Referral Service is available to our policyholders and their employees 24-hours a day at www.Indiana-Ins.com. With this service, searches
may be performed to identify local preferred medical providers in communities all across our operating territory – and beyond.
Medical Bill Reviews are conducted to help ensure the medical care provided and the associated charges are both reasonable and related to the workplace injury.
Our Pharmacy Program is available for employees to fill prescriptions related to their workers’ compensation injuries. Once enrolled, a pharmacy card allows the employee to obtain prescriptions through a network of pharmacies without having to make an out-of-pocket payment.
Managed Care Programs are available in certain jurisdictions. This program proactively manages the medical care plan and process by reviewing medical records and injury information to ensure each employee is receiving proper treatment.

Because damage to property all too frequently occurs outside normal business hours, emergency repair services are available through our C.A.R.E.S.™
Program. With one call to our ANYTIME Claim reporting service, we are able to provide information on qualified contractors to perform emergency repairs to secure your facility and to help prevent further damage.
C.A.R.E.S.™ – Is our Contractor’s Approved Repair Estimate Service that provides pre-approved local professional contractors to inspect damage,
prepare estimates, and immediately set a date for repair work to begin – Usually within 24-hours of a claim being filed. Repairs made by a C.A.R.E.S.™
contractor receive a minimum one-year guarantee on the work performed.
When a catastrophic event produces widespread damage, rest assured that our local claim offices are fully supported by a dedicated Catastrophe Team
ready to step in and help. These team members may be mobilized on short notice to provide emergency claim services to our agents and policyholders
impacted by a catastrophic event.

PACE – Premier Auto Claims Experience provides policyholders with access to a choice of local repair specialists to help ensure repairs to a damaged automobile will be done quickly and correctly. With PACE, we guarantee the repairs for as long as the policyholder owns the vehicle. We stand behind the quality of covered repairs – both parts and workmanship – with a written guarantee.
